Tacky Trails Riding Club (TTRC) was formed in 1999 for equestrians of all breeds of horses and mules to enjoy organized trail rides, overnight campouts, natural horsemanship clinics, used tack sales, and seminars.

Profits from clinics have been donated to worthy horse-related non-profit groups. TTRC members live in Marysville, Yuba City, Smartville, Dobbins, Penn Valley, Grass Valley, and Nevada City. Included in TTRC membership is a 10% discount at the Tacky But Nice store in Grass Valley and a monthly newsletter.
